Readings in Human Resource Management: Vol. 2
The readings in this book along with its companion, Readings in Human Resource Management (volume 1), have been carefully selected to promote discussion and thought about human resource management in Australia. Although most have been written for students and practitioners of human resource management (HRM), some are directed toward the general reader. In making the selection, I have tried to avoid using highly technical or esoteric articles. The reader, therefore, need not possess an extensive experience in human resource management to benefit from this book. Most articles come from Australian academic and business publications and reflect the current think of some Australia’s leading academics and practitioners. While primarily meant as a supplement to my text, Human Resource Management, Second Edition, the readings can be used as an independent resource for HRM and management development programs because the material is directly relevant for anyone concerned with the management of others.
